These terms apply to all bookings with Molecular Food & Cocktails ("we," "us").

1. Booking & Deposit: A date is held only once a signed proposal and a [25%] deposit are received. Deposits are [non-refundable / refundable until 14 days out]. The balance is due [0 days] before the event. 2. Guest Count & Final Details: Final guest count, menu selections, and timeline are due [14] days before the event. Increases after that are subject to availability and additional cost. The invoiced count is the minimum billed regardless of attendance. 3. Cancellation & Postponement: Cancellations more than [90] days out forfeit the deposit. Within [30] days, the full balance is due. One postponement within [12] months is permitted subject to availability; further changes are treated as a cancellation. 4. What We Provide: Bartending staff, molecular ingredients, mixers, garnishes, equipment, setup, service, and breakdown, as specified in your proposal. 5. What You Provide: Alcohol, glassware, and bar setup, per the checklists we supply, unless your proposal states otherwise. We are not responsible for shortfalls caused by insufficient or late-delivered client-supplied items. 6. Venue Access & Site Conditions: You are responsible for securing venue permission, access for load-in and breakdown, adequate power and water, shelter from weather, and any permits the venue requires. Delays caused by access issues may reduce service time without refund. Alcohol Service: Our staff may refuse service to any guest who appears intoxicated or cannot produce valid ID, at their sole discretion. 8. Specialty Techniques & Safety: Liquid nitrogen, smoke, and flame elements are performed only by our trained staff, in conditions we deem safe. We may modify or withdraw any element if conditions are unsafe. Guests may not handle equipment or garnishes containing residual nitrogen. 9. Allergens & Dietary Needs: We accommodate disclosed allergies where possible but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Disclose all requirements at least [14] days out. 10. Photography. We may photograph our work and use images in our portfolio and marketing. Tell us in writing before the event if you'd prefer we don't, or if faces should be excluded. 11. Damage & Loss. You are responsible for damage to our equipment caused by guests or other vendors, at replacement cost. 12. Liability & Insurance We carry [general liability/liquor liability] insurance. 13. Force Majeure. Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, venue closure, or government restriction. We will work with you to reschedule. 14. Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
